This large stone was placed at the entrance area of the cemetery. Stone was donated by the Virgilina Womens Club and the Virgilina Ruritan Club.

Memorial Day Services are held at the cemetery at 11AM on the
Sunday before the National Memorial Day Holiday each year.

The amphitheater is used during Easter Sunrise Services, Memorial Day Services on the Sunday before the National Memorial Day Holiday, and the Wreaths Across America Service which takes place at the same time as the Wreath Laying ceremony at Arlington Cemetery.
